The Ice Is Listening: Earth Day concert with UUCB’s Luminescence Choir and Kensington Symphony Orchestra

The Kensington Symphony Orchestra and Singers from UUCB, UUSF, and the wider choral community will present “The Ice is Listening” by Cecelia McDowell and “Serenade to Music” by Ralph Vaughan Williams. McDowell sets poems by Kate Wakeling into a powerful exploration of the theme of ice and awareness of our environment and the need to care for it. Williams’ rapturously beautiful “Serenade to Music” describes the beauty of the land and stars.
